Meenakshi Moses began practicing yoga in the Sivananda tradition in 1984 and received her Teacher’s Certification in 1988 from the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centers (ISYVC).
Meenakshi was introduced to Ashtanga Yoga in the early nineties and, over the years, it has become her primary practice.
Mysore Ashtanga classes are for students of all levels.
Students learn the fixed order of asanas using a specific movement-breathing technique (vinyasa). Through vinyasa, there is continuity via the breath from asana to asana.The practice sequence is taught individually and all levels practice together in a supportive group environment.
Meenakshi teaches Ashtanga Yoga on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 10:00-11:30.
